Sustainable Knitwear Manufacturing: How LINFAIR Is Leading the Change
Learn about our commitment to sustainable manufacturing and ethical wool sourcing practices.
Sustainability is no longer just a buzzword — it is a business imperative. At LINFAIR, we are committed to reducing our environmental footprint while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Ethical Yarn Sourcing
We source our yarns from suppliers who adhere to ethical practices. Our cashmere comes from responsibly managed goat herds in Inner Mongolia, and our merino wool is sourced from farms that prioritize animal welfare.
Waste Reduction
Computerized knitting machines allow us to minimize yarn waste. Unlike cut-and-sew manufacturing, our whole-garment knitting produces minimal scraps. Any waste yarn is collected and recycled.
Energy Efficiency
Our factory uses energy-efficient Stoll and Shima Seiki machines that consume less power than older models. We are also exploring solar energy to power our production facilities.
Sustainable Packaging
We have transitioned to recycled and biodegradable packaging materials. Our polybags are made from recycled plastic, and our cartons use recycled cardboard.
How You Can Contribute
As a brand, you can contribute to sustainability by:
- Ordering in bulk to reduce shipping frequency
- Choosing sustainable fibers like organic cotton or recycled polyester blends
- Designing timeless pieces that transcend seasonal trends
- Working with manufacturers who share your values
At LINFAIR, we believe that sustainable manufacturing is not just good for the planet — it is good for business. Contact us to learn more about our sustainability initiatives.
